PROCEDURE:

1. Obtain a 4 inch length of a 2 by 4 block.

2. Take your 1 inch wide strip which measures 7 and 1/2 inch long strip and make a fold at 3 and 1/2 inches, this will serve as your side guard, place one piece on the block so that about half an inch of it is on the block and secure it with several thumb tacks or small nails. Repeat this for the other side.

3. Take your 2 inch plastic strip, and fold it in half, use pliers to make a nice fold, it will be this fold that will act as the blade on which the slid will glide.

4. Take your folded 1 inch strip, and from the end of the fold, make a line at 1/4 inches across the folded strip, to serve as a guide.

5. Do this for the remaining three strips.

6. Place the folded 1 inch strip, with the 1/4 inch guide mark, 1/4 inch away from the edge of the block, secure the plastic strip with a thumb tack or a small nail, even out the strip and secure it again with another tack or small nail.

7. Repeat the same thing for the other three 1 inch strips at the other three corners. Making sure to use your 1/4 inch guide for appropriate height of the strips.

8. Now take your Hook screw and screw it the from of the block, you may have to use a small nail, to make a small dent to start the Hook screw into the block.
