June 7th - Mantua Day

This is a one day event in Gloucester County. It is a good opportunity to recruit and impart a bit of civil war history. A large crowd attends this festive event. We want to form a "kiddie company" for drill. We will have recruit information available for the public. Ideally, we'd like at least a dozen members on hand, but more are welcomed!

We need to be set up by noon as cars must be then moved to the parking area. We will set up the company officer's tent, fly and company shelter halves. We can use more as well! We will pack up at 7:30 unless enough fellows want to stay overnite.

The location is Chestnut Branch Park on Main Street (alternate route 553). The park is between the Telford Inn and Barnsboro Inn (about a mile and a half from each). If you travel up route 45 from Mullica Hill, turn right at Teleford Inn and follow route 553. From Woodbury, head south to alt. 553, come around jug handle and cross route 45.
