Sugar Free Apple Pie

SERVES :8 (One 9-inch pie)

Ingredients:

7 tart medium apples
3/4 cup Brown Sugar Twin
2 T flour
1T lemon juice
1/2t nutmeg
1 t cinnamon
1/4 t salt
1/2 t ginger
1/2 t ground cloves
2 T margarine
crusts for 2-crust pie

1. Peel, core and slice apples thinly.
2. Stir all ingredients (except pie crust) together.
3. Mold bottom crust into pie plate.
4. Fill with apple mixture.
5. Dot with margarine.
6. Put top crust over filling. Make slits in top crust for steam to escape.
7. Bake at 400F. for 50 minutes, or until pie is browned and well done.
8. Cool to room temperature on wire rack.
9. Cut into 8 equal pieces and serve 1 piece per serving.
