Moorestown Township's Wastewater Treatment Plant

Tours Tours are available for individuals and groups. We have hosted tours from Elementary Schools, Girl Scout Troops and Boy Scout Troops from Moorestown and surrounding communities. We have a 20 minute educational video which can be borrowed to be viewed before the tour and various handouts concerning the plant, wastewater treatment and water conservation. The highlight of the tour is the examination of the bacteria and protozoa in the Aeration Basins under the microscope. Our laboratory has a video hookup so that everyone can view it on a TV monitor at the same time.
