Who am I?

Who is John and why should I care? Well, you shouldn't care or rather, I don't care if you do care or not, it won't bother me either way. But as for who I am well, I'm me! I was born on July 7th, 1977 so check what today's date is and figure out how old I am for yourself. I know I could have made a Javascript counter to count for you but I didn't so deal with it. Its simple subtraction, you were supposed to have learned it in 1st grade. Then again, if you didn't learn to subtract yet then you probably can't read so....well, its a moot point I guess. On with business!

I have lived in NJ all my life. You may think I'm sick or deranged but I don't plan on going anywhere else either. I have been to other places and truthfully, I need the abusiveness that is New Jersey. I can't tolerate other places for more than a few weeks. I guess I'm desensitized.

So what's to know about me? Nothing much really. I'm a regular guy. If you want to know about my work experience and level of education, check out my resume. There is a link at the bottom of this page. My personal interests follow suit with the rest of this site. I'm a certifiable gearhead. I'm also an electronics junkie. I'm such an electronics junkie that the smell of new electronics is right up there on the scale with fresh baked pies or my girlfriend's perfume or even fresh cut grass at a baseball game. Its almost euphoric but, that's probably way too much information! My other interests include history, useless facts and trivia, music (both playing and listening), movies, computers and video games, scale models, RC cars and a whole host of items. I also enjoy cooking and barbecues. I have been involved with the Boy Scouts of America since i was 7 years old. I have well over 500 days and nights camping. I know that that doesn't seem like much of an accomplishment but really, it is when you only go on about 10 weekend trips a year and 1 week long trip a year.

Recently I have begun looking to purchase a house of my own. This has gotten me interested in other things like gardening/groundskeeping and woodworking. I also gained an interest in boats and I am hoping that I can get enough money together to hopefully purchase a 2nd house where I can store a boat and use it in the summer near the Jersey Shore.

My personal goals are to achieve a level of financial stability so that I can raise a family and still maintain my rather expensive hobbies. I would like to have at least 2 children but 3 tops. My fiancee wants a freakin zoo and all I want is a dog or cat or two and maybe some fish. I guess that makes me boring but I really don't want to assume the roll of Gungadin in my own house.

So that is basically me. Take it or leave it.
