Easy Lasagna
1 (8oz) box lasagna noodles
1 lb. ground meat
1 jar or can spaghetti sauce
½ to ¾ cup of water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp.Italian seasons
1 lb.Cottage cheese OR Ricotta cheese
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup parmesan cheese
Brown off meat;
Add spaghetti sauce. water and seasonings
Simmer for 10 minutes
In a 13x9 pan: layer 1/3 of sauce;
½ uncooked noodles;
1 cup of cottage cheese ∓ 1/3 Mozzarella.
Repeat layers. ending with sauce,
Mozzarella ∓ parmesan.
Cover with wax paper and foil
Bake at 350° for about 55 minutes.
¤Note¤I always double this since we love it so
When I add the sauce, I swish some water in the can
and put that in the botton of can to coat.(helps stop sticking)
This usually bubbles over, so it will save
your oven (and you) if you line a cookie sheet with foil,
and put the pan on that!
It also freezes well!¤
