Crock Pot Stroganoff
1# beef cubes
Oil
1 jar mushrooms if desired
1 tbs dried onion
2 cloves garlic or ¼ tsp powder
½ tsp oregano
¼ tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp thyme
1 bay leaf
1 ½ c beef broth
1 8 oz carton sour cream
½ c flour
¼ c water
Brown meat in skillet.
In crock-Pot combine meat, mushrooms, onions and spices.
Pour in broth, cover and cook on Low for 8-10 hours
OR High for 4-5 hours.
If using Low turn to High. Mix sour cream, flour, and water.
Stir in about 1 c of hot liquid. Return all to cooker, stir.
Cover and cook on High for about 30 mins
or till thick and bubbly.
Serve over noodles or rice.
This is great served w/homemade noodles parm.
