Life Cycle-Related

Here are some handouts which are related to life cycles for software development, or their phases:

Requirements analysis is a good place to start. Here are some thoughts from INCOSE (the International Council on Systems Engineering).
Here is an example from the FAA of defining "requirements" for a system, in the context of a Request For Information (RFI).
Describing the architecture of a system, using the 4+1 approach.
Thoughts from Autodesk (makers of AutoCAD drafting software) on design of ordinary objects.
Web interface concepts. It's ancient (1999), but may still be useful.

Measurement

An example of a Metrics Methodology, to establish the framework for defining metrics for a project or organization.
Discussion of control charts and how to use them.

Programming & Software Engineering

For Ada programming resources, see the Ada Academic Initiative, or the web site for Dr. Michael Feldman, noted Ada author and instructor.
But more are probably interested in Java technology.

Collaborative software development, such as SourceForge, freshmeat, and tigris.org (its Readyset project has lots of software engineering templates). Used to see work on etheus.org, but they seem to have disappeared.
