1998 WILDWOOD JR. HIGH

MISSION TRIP PICTURES

Please be Patient: these may take a bit to load…

After attending worship together on one July Sunday in 1998, about 20 members of our "Wild & Wacky" youth group (6th-8th grade) piled into several cars and vans and headed down to Wildwood, NJ where they had a great time working with Cape May county Habitat for Humanity.

Here Sabrina Rose demonstrates some of the great form that won her a gold medal in the 1997 Dirt Pile Olympics. Faith Garner, in the meantime shows us proper posture for a work break.

Candace shows us her famous smile.

Jay Corbalis and Dan Gardner prove that the guys did some work too.

Sponsor Matt Garner inspects the kids work.

More work.

Caitlyn Clark feels the burn.

Christy King and Kelly Sosnoski do windows.
After this trip they opened up a housecleaning service.

After a hard day’s work, we relaxed at Cold Springs
Presbyterian Church, where we spent the night.

And ate!

The next day we recovered from all our hard work by spending a
couple hours at Morey’s Pier in Wildwood.

Not cold, are you Bryan?

Hey, are we studs or what?

Speaking of studs—here Matt Garner and Pastor Bill
chill at the snack bar.

As do Kelly, Sabrina, and April Quillen

Others preferred their food in the great out of doors.

All things considered it was a great trip! We helped build homes for low income folks, got to know one another a lot better, grew closer to God, and had a LOT of fun. Best of all, we're going to do it again next year! Stay tuned for details at youth group meetings during the year!
