Installing Red Hat Linux 9.0
If you have Linux on Compact Discs -
1. Set the computer to boot from its CD drive.
If this is not an option, set the computer to boot from its
floppy drive.
If you choose this option, you will first need to create
a Linux boot diskette.
Using a Windows PC to create a boot diskette from the Linux CD.
Using a Linux computer to create a boot diskette from the Linux CD.
2. Insert Linux CD #1 (or the boot diskette) into the drive and reboot the computer.

Installing from a boot diskette with a KICKSTART file
1. Set the computer to boot from it's floppy "A:\" drive.
2. At the prompt, enter the command to boot using the file ks.cfg
boot: linux ks=floppy
Loading vmlinuz..........................
Loading initrd.img.......................
3. Unless you get lucky, you will also need a network driver
diskette

You will need to select the option: "Use
a driver disk" and then
