SWRC Pledge-a-Thon
Each spring SWRC volunteers work a
lot of extra volunteer hours to organize a Pledge-a-Thon. In recent
years we have hosted a Wild Goose Chase Run/Walk-a-Thon and in previous years had a
Bowl-a-thon. Volunteers,
families and friends participate and their sponsors donate money to support
participants.
One thing we always need
help
with is collecting prizes.
Examples of prizes we've given away are:
a business card holder, crystal clock, picture frames, animal print,
umbrella, bird feeder, bird house, wind chimes...
This event is a REALLY BIG HELP!
