Always cut up six-pack rings to prevent death by strangulation or starvation due to inability to eat, forage, etc..

It is usually the young that get their heads, wings, or legs caught and as they grow the ring tightens until they lose the leg, wing or their life.

Raccoon - head caught in can Crush cans  so that animals do not get their heads caught and die of starvation or predation.  They can no longer eat, drink or see.

Skunk - head caught in Yoplait container Always cut up Yoplait yogurt containers.  They have a lip inside the opening that prevents an animal from getting its nose out. Skunk sniffing Yoplait containers

Turtle thinks plastic bag is foodDispose of plastic bags, fishing line, or anything else that is translucent and could be mistaken for food.
